I'd be surprised if Richie jumped from travel/Monday overnights to one of the biggest shows on the network. He's alright when i've heard him cover the likes of Dermot and Rylan... but drivetime seems like quite the leap. That said, it does seem odd that he disappeared from the afternoon travel reporting shift completely after filming Celebrity Apprentice (I'm pretty sure when it was mentioned on air at the time, it was mentioned he would be back). Taking over overnights full time would be the most logical option, but of course that of course depends on if OJ gets teatime. Talking of OJ, he's listed on overnights still in late June (i suppose that could change), plus in for Paddy McGuinness on the 28th.  

Breakfast the week of the 29th June to 4th is interesting, wonder if that will be the week or will Marks name appear. I am guessing Mark isn't available for drive that week hence using Alex Jones. Lots of speculation that Richie is the new host 

This seems an ever better idea now given the circumstances. Could be monetised. 

But not sacked outright despite some interesting claims in his book. I wonder where the line is? 

Tony Livesy seems to have become the next Scott Mills, big BBC radio star now caught up in sex allegations. Doesn’t seem like it’s all over for him though, he’s strongly denying everything and they’ve only said he’s off his show for a short time. 

I see there is now ANOTHER article from the original tabloid with absolutely nothing new - they are beyond obsessed after claiming they “broke” the story in the first place! They have interviewed someone in PR to get their thoughts, and they just don’t collerate with who we believe Scott to be as far as I’m concerned - warning him not to look like “he’s desperate to reclaim the spotlight!” (?!) They clearly have no idea who he is, as this is obviously far beyond who Scott is anyway! 🤣

It's been a while since Alex Jones popped up on R2. She used to cover Dermot and Claudia's shows on  Saturdays regulary.
