I agree with DelDalek and Alan on this; I found Titanic to be a dreadful film - so long and drawn out, with characters I really couldn't give a shit about (mainly from the awful acting of the lead pair). As it was being raved about, I took my mother (who worked on some pretty impressive films) along, who actually suggested leaving halfway through - though we stuck it out to the bitter end... Have always failed to see just why it was so popular.

Haven't seen Avatar yet, surprisingly. Did anyone see it on an IMAX screen?

Was thinking of going to see Avatar at the weekend but after I've listened to Moyles and the team going over it in detail on tomorrow's show I probably wont need to! :D

If you do want to go see it, only go for the special effects/3D thing. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I can safely say I thought it was the most over hyped drivvel I've seen in a long time. The plot was ridiculous, somehow fantasy and reality meet and cross over. I think "fantasy" is rubbish at the best of times, but the story line sank to a whole new level of awful

Having said that the 3D is rather good, but bear in mind thats 1 of the few plus points to the film

Not impressed with censorship
