I just came back from canoeing in Wales and had the most amazing time. We got up to so much rubbish including illegal activities such as fitting 5 people into a Fiat Panda and others that we were damn glad we had waterproof tupperware for.

Met some absolutely amazing people including a guy who comes from Norfolk who was well excited that I was off to the UEA. If spent the entire weekend telling me how amazing it was when he went there. Literally couldn't stop singing, though that may have been due to the other illegal activities...

I'll blog properly about it later.

I'm not going to starve at uni because I'm learning how to cook... and I'm good at it

Yeah I only really learned to cook at the end of last summer and it was really quick. I think most of it is gaining the confidence and then you realise that most things actually aren't that difficult.

I got my hair cut today. I don't enjoy the actual experience of getting it cut but I like how it looks now. Also only 19 days till I go back to Uni and escape my parents. I am doing ok so far at getting on with them but it is pretty challenging.

It's well documented on UM just how much I loathe clothes shopping, but sometimes it has to be done I suppose.

I was dragged off kicking and screaming, bought some new stuff today and am now very pleased 'cos I've now got lovely new things to wear. Got some real bargains in Next and Gap.

Another thing that made me very happy indeed was that I ended up getting size 8 jeans from one shop. I will admit that I started off with a 12, the boyf (poor thing) was sent off to get a 10, then an 8. I still maintain their sizing scale is a bit generous though.
