Poor Nik. It is hard to live with these lesser mortals. I'm fortunate enough to be with someone who is my intellectual equivalent, and some. Hmmm. Hope he doesn't think I'm dumbing him down...;)

It makes complete sense Emma. Is this the one who tried for a job in Spar before?* These people have serious issues so it's not even worth trying to work out how their minds work or their reasons/motives for doing things.

I know it must be hard but I wouldn't waste another thought on this person. Luckily you know her application will go straight into the shredder so she can never get to work beside you. It doesn't matter whether or not she thinks she can work beside you or not because what she thinks is not important to you.

I have had people try and get to me and hurt me in very twisted ways too and I've wasted too much time and energy trying to work out why they would act in this way. It's a waste of time.

Get the application in the shredder and forget her, you have moved on from those dark days and don't let her drag you down again. Think of all the great things you have done recently and focus on all the lovely positive things in your life.

Failing that, I'll come down and beat her up. ;)

I'm behind everything the lovely Kirsty said above. Mind you, I'm not sure it's such a good idea to post this person's full name on here?

I'll also come over and 'poke her in the snoot' (PG Wodehouse ref, think it means to thump very ineffectually) too if needs be.:x

And I know, it probably wasn't such a great idea, but I thought alongside all the things she's done it was pretty insignifcant.

I think if you did you'd know about it by now Danni, from what I've heard it spreads VERY quickly. So I wouldn't worry about that.

And stay strong Emma, it's obvious that this girl isn't worth bothering with so don't give her the satisfaction, you're worth ten of her. :)

you posted this over 19 hours ago. trust me meningitis develops that fast you would be a lot worse off by now, you wouldn't of cared about posting on here 12 hours later than the one i quoted above.

anyway do the glass test, and if you still have doubts, go and see a doctor or something.

i know i havent got it but i just paniced

i made the me more ill by drinking some alcohol yesterday... so much so my aunty found me unconcious in the bathroom... that little alcohol wouldnt normally affect me like that but i was ridiculously sick.... My stomach is sooo painful today.

Democracy sucks.

Group of us going out tonight in Edinburgh, I wanna go to Base (dance and other music with a beat) and the othrs all want to go to the Hive (rock and mostly stuff by bands), anyone whose been to either of these places will understand why I currently wanna stay in tonight :|

My girlfriend got me a flake Easter egg I hate flakes how do I break it to her that I don't like them, might not seem much of a problem but she gets quite sensitive about this sort of stuff.

Surely a Flake is just chocolate though? The egg is just normal Dairy Milk chocolate anyway. Give the Flake bars to someone else.

What sucks is that I don't want to leave uni and I don't know what I want to do next. I'm pretty sure that it won't involve moving back in with my parents. Leaving home won't be easy and neither will finding a job, but my parents are trying to tell me what I want to do and that's no good at all in the long term.
