I’m wondering if it’s 5 live with occasional 2? Isn’t her mum up North so would be handy for Salford?

She's done so well to have worked through so much of her cancer battle.

Could well be, and I can see much more potential vacancy at 5Live than 2. Not sure if it's up north that her mum is.

I cant see any vacancies at 5Live at the minute. They said months back that they were to be starting a new series with Gordon Smart. Adele could be staying on at the BBC within the BBC Sport team as she has present coverage of certain marathons and could be quite good to have apart of the Paris team next year.

It says that she will still be heard on BBC Radio. She's on Radio 2 Friday night sitting in for Spoony.

Unless possibly if they had presenter like Fearne Cotton, Angela Griffin or Michelle Visage leave the station and their shows she may be a shoe horn there if they were to focus on other projects.

That said if it’s not much commitments given to them like proposals for Steve Wright’s Serious Jockin’ BBC Sounds playlist after Scott Mills took over his slot and then had Cel Spellman apart of the ‘family’ but barely seen or heard from after. I wonder if some plans could fall flat.

I mean yes, that's a possibility. Adele is such an inspirational lady - I'd listen to a podcast from her.

I'm old enough to remember when Adele and Andi Durrant were the last voices to be heard on Galaxy. Until Capital came along and ruined it.

I was thinking that, could see her popping up covering on Radio 2 and 5 Live like Scott did and Sara before him but if she gets a job anytime soon it will be Heart or something else commercial. It could be anywhere but Heart have form on recently left Radio 1 people because of Dev being there now. Yasmin Evans from 1Xtra springs to mind too. Wish her luck wherever she is going, even if I know I won't listen.

Here's Adele and Andi Durrant actually signing off Galaxy. Capital was coming to be "bigger bolder and brasher" as said. Lasted about 12 months before they became One Direction FM. Shame.

She was. With Alison Hammond and Kate Lawler.

Wow. I watched that one and I have only just made the connection that Adele from big brother is our Adele from Radio1!

You know I just must of missed her. The only ever bit of big brother I ever watched was in 2002. And I was on holiday in Spain, by that point it was down to around 4 so she must have just gone. I remember Jade, Kate and Jonny the fireman but not Adele.
