Emil in for Jamie alongside Vick on Going Home today and tomorrow.
-
Interesting. Seems logical to keep Spoony as the main cover for mid afternoons, as he was for Scott.
-
Ros Atkins in for Jeremy Vine on Monday 19th May, Tina Daheley sits in rest of the week. Saturday 24th May Shaun Keaveny in for Dermot O'Leary Richie Anderson in for Rylan.
-
Josh Widdecombe in for Romesh on Saturday 31st May. He was actually quite good when he sat in the other month, so it's good to see him covering again.
-
Phil Williams in for OJ Borg next Wednesday (13th May) and w/c 26th May for the week. Connor Phillips sits in on Friday 16th May. Emma Willis in for Sara Cox on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd June.
-
Friday 4th June Lauren Layfield in for Danni alongside Sam James Cusack on the Official Chart in for Jack Saunders.
-
Looks like OJ is off that week, it probably would've been him covering otherwise. It still has Jeremy, Trevor, Sara and Jo listed.. which I imagine will change at some point.
-
Lauren Layfield is on with Rickie and Melvin today.
-
Saturday 17th May (Eurovision Super Saturday) 3-5pm Your Favourite Eurovision Song with Michelle Visage (already avaliable on Sounds) 5-8pm All Request Eurovision with Owain Wynn Evans 8-11:30pm* Eurovison Grand Final with Scott Mills and Rylan 11:30pm*-02:00am Eurovison After Party with Richie Anderson *Eurovision finishing at 11:30 is unlikely so Richie's show will start as soon at the contest finishes.

W/C 19th May Jason Mohammad in for Owain Wynn Evans Tina Daheley in for Jeremy Vine Andi Oliver in for DJ Spoony on the Good Groove Ellie Taylor in for Sara Cox on 22nd/23rd May.

Layfield or Redfern?
-
Drivetime extended to 8pm on Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th May as a result of the Eurovision semi final coverage airing at 8pm. OJ Borg is sitting in on both of those days.
-
Joel Dommett in for Romesh Ranganathan on Saturday 3rd May.
-
OJ Borg in for Sara Cox on Wednesday 16th April.
-
Monday 5th May (bank holiday) OJ Borg in for Scott Mills on breakfast Gary Davies in for Vernon Kay 12-2pm Sounds Of Soul With Tony Blackburn 2-4pm Billion Streamers Part 3 with Mark Goodier Phil Williams in for OJ Borg on Tuesday 6th May. Ellie Taylor in for Sara Cox on 7th/8th May.
-
I assume the schedule will be updated further as I doubt there will be an early breakfast show on bank holiday Monday if breakfast starts at 6 and is hosted by Dean.
-
Vernon is now listed on Good Friday (he's usually off every bank holiday). Gary Davies was originally listed, but he's currently sitting in all this week and Monday/Tuesday next week.
-
Mark Goodier sits in for Scott Mills W/C 28th April Phil Williams in for OJ Borg on Tuesday 22nd April Ellie Taylor in for Sara Cox on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th April (surprised it's not OJ, he's currently listed on overnights as usual).
-
Good Friday and Easter Monday 12-2pm Sounds Of Soul with Tony Blackburn 2-4pm Mark Goodier's Most Played- Billion Streamers.
-
Tomorrow between 5 & 7pm is a special programme remembering Johnnie Walker on what would've been his 80th birthday. Hosted by Jo Whiley.
-
OJ and Gary are in for Scott and Vernon respectively on Easter Monday as well. Richie Anderson is in for Sara Cox on the same day.
-
Tbf, it's quite common for the early breakfast presenter to cover the main breakfast show on bank holidays. Arielle did it several times, as has Dean since he took over. I'm assuming Matt & Jerry/Mollie are the main breakfast cover still.
-
Owain Wyn Evans in for Rylan on Saturday 5th April. Shaun Keaveny is presenting the interim Sunday 5-7pm slot by the looks of it until Pick Of The Pops moves to that slot in May. Richie Anderson takes over the Sunday into Monday overnight slot on 7th April.
-
I agree about Emil. It's great that he's getting such high profile cover despite not being a full time presenter. Hopefully he's someone fully on Radio 1's radar in the next few years for a full time show.

Fair point about the anthems 'hour', I just personally don't see the need for a 'themed' 20's show when that's pretty much what the current playlist is (new music and recent recurrents). 00's and 10's makes sense as they're pretty much nostalgia at this point, which is why they're popular on BBC Sounds.
