I enjoy Vernon but I'm not too keen on the idea of waking up to him that early. I can just about bear him singing over records and shouting on a Saturday morning, I'm not so sure about 6.30am! He's a better choice than moving Scott about though.

Shoutier than Moyles??? I'm rather pleased with the choice of Vernon. There should be some pretty amusing banter between him and comedy Dave as they obviously get on really well.

Should be funny to hear about the car sharing that they said they would do. Liked how they kinda rubbed it in that they were going to go to McDonald's ont he way home while poor Chris and Rachel are up the mountain.

My heart sank a little when he came on.

But I'm extremely pleased that it's Vernon Kay in the morning.

I really like his style of presenting - I think it'll suit the breakfast show perfectly.

Risky, I'd have thought they were going to put one of the more expereinced (I would say different to having established but Vern is well known already). It's different to having Scott on, I don't like them moving Scott around.

No I agree with Jordan. I enjoy Vernon's show but I'm not sure whether I'll enjoy his Northern accent and singing over songs at 6.30am. Moyles can shout but not to the extremes of Mr Kay.

Well lets face it, Waking up to Moyles every morning isn't exactly Gently awaking is it. I think if anything Vern will make Mornings a more relaxed affair, not that this is a good thing.
