I like Fearne but in moderate doses, I find she is a little over-peppy. I'd rather have Nihal on, or at least have Fearne and Nihal rotate. I know Nihal has been worked to death recently but I think he is a seriously skilled DJ being able to appeal to both the mainstream and his specialist audience and I'd like to see mroe of him.

Why on the schedule on the R1 pages has Jo's show been replaced by Sara Cox's name, when Edith's show still has her name up with people covering in small letters underneath? I dont understand.

I think it will be interesting to have Edith back on daytimes, I hope she comes back with a burst of energy and tries to make her show different to before.

I know its really petty, but things like the wrong listings really irritate me. Surely it would only take 5 minutes for 1 person to check and update them on a weekly basis?

Its interesting to see that Edith is back doing Tv work, ie presenting the Electric proms and some James Bond premiere before she returns full time to Radio!

Fearne has really suprised me whilst covering for edith, i really enjoy her shows at the moment.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks that lol, I think Radio 1 is starting to sound really good. Sara is sounding good on mornings too.

I like it when Sara talks about her family, it makes her human..more like a mate you are listening to...than a total stranger.

So I wouldnt mind if Edith did mention her son or boyfriend or family. But I doubt if she will, she seems to seperate her private and professional life into seperate compartments.

I've really grown to listening to Fearne and Sara since they've been covering. Was never a huge fan before, but I actually enjoy listening to them more than i do Jo and Edith.

I'm not a Fearne Cotton fan, but Sara is a real darkhorse for radio presenting - creeps up on you and catches you by surprise with her talents. Radio One's answer to Lauren Laverne (if not vice versa).

As for Edith, I don't like her show at all. But then I'm usually listening to Moyles on Listen Again around the time of her show, so it's no loss.
