What did I tell you? Knew something would happen + You love my drunken antics!

Well I still don't know how much she likes me, you're a girl, girls tell eachother that, find out or something.

And your drunken antics are hilarious. Especially a game of "understand the text", last night you managed to spell what I think was drunk as "fruenk".

Pffft, you're a woman, you have ways of twisting conversation. And stuff. She did ask about you the other day though, asking if you'd be out too or something. You also saw her last night for a split second. :P

Anyway, that's enough of my silly life. To bring this back to the subject, what rocks in my life... uhhm.. oh yeah! Plans are to upgrade the Ceiling Cat in the kitchen to one printed on A1. It currently looks like this: http://tweetphoto.com/7exuaejm

I had a great weekend in Nottingham and will be going there quite a lot more times in future. The run of bad luck I've had during 2009 seems to have changed finally. Work is still lame but has been getting slightly better and the weekends are gonna be really good to make up for it. Things are good :)

Ooh err. Ooh very err. Who be this?

He's a student still. I met him about a year ago but the last couple of months we've been talking more on the phone and MSN and stuff. And then I went to visit him at the weekend :) so lots more Nottingham visits for me, I can pretend to be a student on the weekends, while earning money during the week.

Work is getting a bit more interesting as well, and people are talking to me more now. Life is surprisingly good at the moment.

Salt and vinegar :D

I love vinegar flavour crisps! My favourites are salt and pepper, they're so tasty, but I think vinegar is my number two. I absolutely can't stand pepperoni or paprika. I used to like Sour Cream & Onion, but not anymore.

And that was my opinion on crisps.

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
