Hello there all you lovable geeks...

It’s Scott. Been a while eh?

Just wanted to see how you all are. I’m still checking in everyday to see what you guys are talking about, it’s still very useful to have the instant feedback from the forums during the show.

This site has been running years now, and it keeps getting better.

What is really encouraging is the new members – often people who just log on to find a clip from the show, or after an on air mention – and end up staying.. But more are always welcome! HELLOOOO NEW MEMBERS!

Also big thanks to Jono too for continuing to maintain this site to such a high standard, despite having a lot less free time than he used to. It really is appreciated by me and the whole team.

Let us know what you’d like to hear more/less of, as we’re always tweaking ideas and features.

If you look at a lot of internet fan sites, they are not a patch on this one, and that’s all thanks to you lot.. So THANKYOU!

Let’s make this year the best yet at unofficial mills.

I Love You All

Scott x

hello Scott, nice to see you dropping by, haven't seen Laura around here for a while.

She was flirting with (cider-ed up) Jono on shoutbox last night! ;)

Aaaaaaaaaah, that message has made me feel all warm and smiley.

Hi to you too Scott. Just keep on doing what you're doing as well as you, Chopper, Laura, TOTDS et al do, and we'll be happy. :)

PS. Bet you dictated that to Laura!

Hi Scott, You still owe me a haircut by the way!

As has already been said, lovely to have you posting on here....

Things I love are Flirt Divert - one of the funniest things on radio. I'd love to hear some of the unbroadcastable stuff you get on there. Oooh read out more of the text messages, don't bother with different celebs doing it, just get one person to do it as it was very funny.

Things I'm not so keen on are taking the mickey out of foreigners...like the Dutch Woman doing the lyrics to Candy Shop....Maybe it's just me though. Old people are fine to take the mick out of but foreigners are far too easy.

Other than that I think the show's going really well and I love what you're doing. I just love some of the general randomness that comes out. Oh and give that girl who'd had 18+3 partners a full time job! Good actual mornin!

Now...about my haircut!

Sometimes here, sometimes not.

How often does Moyles visit/mention his fansites btw?

he has an account on his but said on-air he went in their chatroom and they didnt believe it was him. he rambles on about his fansite each week talking about threads on there and clearing up rumours. was one on tuesday or monday about carrie leaving. he usually slags it off though. think it was must be a love/hate thing.

Hello Mr Mills nice of you to join us.I'm loving your attempt at romantic novels. It's like having one of those listening books for the people with sight difficulties. But Chappers' accents have to improve.Keep up the good work and you could be the next Barbara Cartland. I'm sure a pink rinse a bit of bling and a fluffy cat sat on your lap would suit you.

Wow, Scott Mills might actually be reading what I say! Worth joining this place innit! Anyway in case he does see this post, Scott you're a class act. You're show goes from strength to strength and your unique show and sense of humour continues to make me laugh. Keep up the excellent work.

    • I guess we'll have to wait and see when the new schedule kicks in, although I could see Scott staying where he is.  Assuming that's the case and there are no other moves, there would be several available studios for Matt & Mollie - 82C or 82E of the 'old' studios, and 82M or 82N of the new ones.
    • The BBC commissioning brief mentions it is a 'mid morning show' for Radio 1 Dance https://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/radio/documents/comm_brief_r1_dance_morning_show.pdf
    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
