No you cant see any of the audience.

You see my hair when the lights go up and my phone occasionally due to tweeting :D

It's REALLY quiet on my laptop where the volume doesn't go that high. Might just be the laptop and not the fault of the video though.

Quiet for me too, but full volume on everything seemed to do the trick.

It took me an hour and a half to watch 20 minutes of video, how does that work? Stupid buffering speeds.

Enjoyed those two bits, it's good. My only real problem is that it didn't open with the Music4 jingle or a song working it in. :P

I was hoping for a live version of the jingle too. :(

I didn't really pay much attention to all the Musical stuff on the show recently as I thought it could only turn out a bit naff. How wrong was I?

Just watched the first two parts of the show and I have to say I'm regretful I didn't 'get' it earlier and take the time out to bring Nati up to join you lot up there. Really great stuff. A little envious, in fact.

Looking forward to the next parts put up online...

I know! It was like when I got there and watching it back - I just sort of have my mouth almost wide open in amazement how professional they made it all. I don't know what I was expecting but it just all seems surreal and quite cool. We all saw it and ended up getting drunk after so watching it back brought it all back! But I agree, when they were banging on about it a few weeks after the idea I was sick to death of it, but it appears to have been worth it for many true fans.

Oops. How remiss. I appear not to have mentioned how much I enjoyed the first bit of the musical. It was excellent - really amusing. Can't wait for the next installments.

Fake Chappers and Joe's performances were particularly good. I agree with you Jo, it's nice that there were so many references for the real SM fans. Did TOWDS write all of it? Well, whoever did write it did a jolly good job.

That's like me, too! I haven't really had time to listen to the show of late, but I knew about the musical etc. I wish I could have made it in the end - it looked absolutely superb! I've only seen a tiny bit online so far but I'll catch up with it very soon. Here's hoping they take it on the road eventually!

Yup, Mr Dodd was credited with the writing in the programme. But I don't doubt his writing alone could have produced such a magnificent production - there was so many others involved. Full credit to the online team, choreography, music production, stage managers, etc because it looks like such a huge task.

    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
    • I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.
    • Actually the worst tends to be those who comment on Radio Today news stories. People who haven’t listened to younger oriented radio stations in years who say things like “who?” about any job going to any presenter aged younger than 50.
