What hash tag should be used on Twitter?

A very geeky thing to ask but I guess it's all about hash tagging on Twitter for these major events. What would be the best tag for tweets about the event?

Think something will need to be used as "big weekend" searches bring up amazing amounts of people "preparing for the big weekend ahead".

#bigweekend or #r1bw - what do you reckon?

I think we should go for both, I mean, if you're trying to get the message across, then #bigweekend would be the one for sure. However, if you're just referring to it to people who know about it, then of course, for brevity, #R1-BW would have to be the one.

What's a hash tag?

Haha. Like a 'tea' bag but illegal and gives you the munchies. ################

Sorry. It's when a topic is particularly popular on Twitter, you can put a '#' hash sign in front to read about it. Also on certain radio shows they ask you to tweet a '#' first so it's easier for them to read the responses.
