I'm loving X-factor too this year. There's some really genuinely talented people. I'm loving the attitude of the girl (can't remember the name) who answered Simon Cowell back. I think he likes her. Not only is she very spirited, she's got a great voice too.

O, don't forget the competition to win a laptop (I think, etc) at www.itv.com = The answer is "love".

Also: There are rumours on msn's page that Dannii is not happy with the amount of attention Cheryl Cole is getting!

Can't believe Daniel wasn't in the bottom 2!!! Out of the bottom 2 I definitely think Laura should have stayed! I think she was a lot better than Ruth!!! I reckon Louis was trying to get a Cheryl the same as he has the last 2 weeks with Simon! There is NO WAY Austin should have gone last week!!!!

You didn't see his blue suit on the TV Awards then!

I agree with you there, I tihnk loads of people voted for him because Moyle's was relentlessly promoting him on friday's show, making jingles for him and such.

I cannot believe they honestly asked people to do Mariah Carey songs on Saturday. So few people can honestly cover stuff she does, and it all ended in disaster with laura kicked out! Chappers was on about this yesterday during the lie-in, and I totally agree. I'd rather see Ruth go.

X Factor fans have expressed their anger at Saturday night's result, which saw Laura White voted off the show.

The 21-year-old, who had been second favourite to win the ITV1 talent show, went up against Ruth Lorenzo in the sing-off, but the judges voted her off.

More than 3,500 fans have signed an online petition for White to be reinstated or get a record deal.

Culture Secretary Andy Burnham even raised the issue in Parliament, saying White's exit had been "very harsh".

His remarks came during Commons question time, as part of a discussion about the crude comments made by Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross on BBC Radio 2.

Mr Burnham remarked that MPs "should resist that temptation to comment on editorial matters.

"Although the temptation is great in my case, having seen the wonderful and talented Laura White very harshly voted off X Factor on Saturday."

White lives in Mr Burnham's constituency of Leigh in Greater Manchester.
