    • I'm afraid the Sky EPG has become the victim of the BBC's policy of not to update most of the schedules for this week, especially on the Breakfast and Going Home listings! 😆
    • But if it was OJ then surely the announcement would have come by now? Even if there was a delay due to working a plan to relocate production to Salford, that wouldn't take this long. My own guess, based on nothing more than a hunch, is that Trevor was the plan and that's been put on hold for obvious reasons. OJ could then maybe get afternoons...
    • Melvin’s got a radio 2 gig for the forseeable plus am sure I heard he said he was doing something with Ricky too. Ricky did some talksport cover  Nat agree is the big surprise! I’m not sure what she’s doing next as thought she’d have a good shelf life on Radio 1 and thought her and Vicky or Sian Eleri would be the next live lounge hosts.    Dean’s moving to London so that might be a clue but his choice and has something lined up. He did get promoted far too early but almost anyone replacing Scott would have been a downgrade hence was better for Matt and Moll to replace Dean when they knew they could improve a show.    James - nice guy but bit bland and I think his tight link commercial radio style has hindered him in terms of radio 1 and they probably needed Emil in permanently to build him up for daytime cover or future slots in 2/3 years.  Week starting 31st August is their last week and imagine new schedules start the following Monday
    • I think OJ - unless they’ve someone else in mind. OJ, I’d maybe move over to R2 Drive over R1 for.
    • Super late to this and had a reply written but didn’t post as got tied up with World Cup and wasn’t feeling too well. I’m surprised and not surprised by some of these changes  Ricky and Melvin felt like they were coming to an end but I feel sad RMC is coming to end. I do wonder what they’ll do next  Nat O Leary was a surprise - I thought she would have been one they’d have held on to. But am I right in thinking she had a job in fashion when she first started at Radio 1? James Cusack - also a surprise - it took so long for him to get a slot.  Dean - feel a bit sorry for him. Feel like he was promoted far too early and didnt get to bed himself in. The afternoon slot was a disaster and I was listening to Scott by then anyway. He’s really came across well on Early Breakfast but I guess there’s no opportunity for him on daytime. The I’m a Celeb appearance didn’t go well either but at least they finally changed the trial voting rules. Do hope he does well wherever he goes next  Swarzy - I can’t comment on   When are all the last shows - the last week of August? I’ll try and tune in if I can.     Really happy for Emil who I think should have had a slot a long time ago. Big potential for drive or breakfast in the future. Mylo and Rosie - I’m happy for too. I’m happy that they’ve managed to find a new permanent slot after being taken off Hits after so long. I’m not sure they are long term R1 but a massive coup for them all the same
    • Ha no, I did in the context that it appears Mollie is back! Mollie is down to do Future Pop on the 2nd September as well.
