Scott said on The Wright Stuff this morning (after the old people in the audience wooped that they wanted to see it in London - random!) that he was hoping to do something more with the musical because three nights wasn't enough.

I wonder whether anyone here would be prepared to watch it if made it to London?

Probably the best idea would be for them just to do it in London, without touring all over the place, but on a bigger scale in London.

HA! I read his mind. Scott is very conscious of being on camera, doesn't relax well when interviewed (playing with his hands a lot - nervous). The true personality is not being revealed in this interview, but it's still very interesting nevertheless.

I have to disagree, I think that the intimate style of the Pleasance Theatre was a very positive feature of the whole experience. Not sure a really big venue would be as good.

No probs!! Well, you've actually experienced it live, so I guess you'll be a better judge of how it all comes across!! :-)

Less intimate would probably please me though, I would imagine. I normally prefer shows on a bigger scale. :-)

I'd quite like to actually pay for tix though - like for a proper West End Show. I don't think the freebies necessarily work well, e.g. Moyles' Karaoke Night. Ahem.

Actually, for my next Radio 1 venue (which isn't going to be Chris Moyles - like, er, ever again), some actual seats may be nice.

You know, my jacket was white when I arrived at the Fruitmarket Venue. It wasn't white when I left!! Must have been the lying-on-the-floor, staring up at the ceiling, admiring R1's coloured lights, desperately clinging to my life!!

Why not put it on again in London at one of the smaller fringe theatres and then film it for Tv? If it was on one of the commercial channels they could make it last for months... but it might make a good show for BBC3!
