Just found a You Tube clip about that Diana girl, I don't actually have any idea who she is but thought it was quite funny, it's about her rather bizarre singing style: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBvlwkHOxCQ&eurl=http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/blog/article/75328/&feature=player_embedded

So save the last dance

For me my love 'cause I

I'm sure she wasn't singing "ship" in the last song.

Nor was I, I thought she was using a word I'd use to describe her musical talent...

Jokes jokes, I thought she was really good. Surprised to see her go, I thought eoughnuoen would get booted off. Oh well, he'll go first next week no doubt and Alex will win.

owen (w/e way he spells it) has been the top vote every week apart from last week when alex was top according to DS

Hmmm I'm torn between who will go first out of JLS and Eoughen. I think my prediction is bias because I prefer JLS but I'm sticking to my first bet that Owen goes. Regardless, with Dianna out Alex will defo win.

X Factor is such a joke this year, if Eoghan wins I may explode in frustration.

Then again, he does provide hilarious clips for Harry Hill (vote for me face).

Yeah. That little forlorn face really made me laugh. I stand by what I've said previously, Alexandra is the best singer and is a decent performer too.

Glad that Diana went tonight, although I think think this was her best week. Alexandria is brilliant and I still think she will win but I just love Eoghan, he's so cute!

i agree i think Alexandra will win. alhtough JLS are good as well and will probably come second - does anyone know what the winners song is this year?

Thank God diana went. Felt really sorry for Eoghan, getting in such a state he couldn't even speak to Dermot.

There is some scandal surrounding Alexandra apparently this week - not sure what though exactly.

I did read something about this - her ex boyfriend claims he has a sex tape of her - the article explains it better than i can

Rumoured performers on Saturday's show are Boyzone, Seal, Beyonce and Duffy- who will perform with who?

I presume Boyzone with Eoghan, although Louis may have got them with JLS, but to me that sounds like too many men on a stage!

That leaves JLS with Seal, and have already heard that Beyonce was rumoured to be singing with Alexandra, so where does that leave Duffy? I guess she must have been booked for Diana before they knew the final three...

I'm sick of these rumours about Eoghan and Diana that have been going of the past few weeks. It's so annoying, they never dated during the show. They went out for fish andc hips or mcdonalds or to the cinema and they made it out to be a date and then the media started rumours that her boyfriend had dumped her to make the story sound more plausible. It's so annoying too because people believed it.

Is that you Diana? ;)

Apparently Take That have pulled out of the final because of Boyzone, I don't know why. Can't say I'll miss seeing them again.

Apparently Simon has accidentally confirmed Eoghan and Diana's romance by describing them as "two young kids in love", although he could just be playing the media in classic Cowell style.

I think they are, judging by Euoghsefen's reaction to Di leaving last week.

Nati square eyes. I've been watching lots of TV tonight. I thought Alexandra's performances were magnificent this evening (even Hallelujah which I had been skeptical about) and I'm so pleased she won. How lucky was she to get a duet with Beyonce though?

That duet was purely magnificent - quite possibly one of the greatest duets I've ever heard. It sent shivers down my spine; they should release it as a single.

Her version of the song was excellent, it really seemed to come from the heart, and I shed a few tears during the course of the show (hormonal female hehe).

I'm not that impressed with the arrangement, the song really doesn't need a key change!

For me, JLS lost it during their performance when they were smiling- I understand that it must have been a great moment and a fantastic experience, but Hallelujah isn't really a song that lends itself to cheesy grinning!

Well done, Alexandra, but the fawning all over Beyonce was a bit much. Cringeworthy.

also, can someone please replace Dermot O'leary, because I'm really get fed up with his flippant and uncaring attitude. Get someone else.

If you really want to see Flippant and Uncaring, they can hire me next year :P

    • I guess we'll have to wait and see when the new schedule kicks in, although I could see Scott staying where he is.  Assuming that's the case and there are no other moves, there would be several available studios for Matt & Mollie - 82C or 82E of the 'old' studios, and 82M or 82N of the new ones.
    • The BBC commissioning brief mentions it is a 'mid morning show' for Radio 1 Dance https://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/radio/documents/comm_brief_r1_dance_morning_show.pdf
    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
