What do you look for in a man?

What qualities make a girl see someone as potential boyfriend material?

(This isn't a girly picture thread btw, and some bloke can post the equivalent version if they want).

1. Nice eyes

2. Sincerity

3. VERY gsoh

4. Similar interests

On the physical front, I *hate* really skinny guys - I don't want to go out with someone with smaller thighs than me! I like a bit of chunk on a guy (not to the extreme, I'm no chubby chaser), they've got to be taller than me, and take a bit of care in their appearance.

Personality wise, they've got to be a good conversationalist, have a very GSOH and definitely not be clingy.

So, I'm not really picky at all. Ahem.

I only go for men who are reasonably independent. If he needs to phone his mum every 5 minutes, that's no good. I like people who are confident enough to decide things for themselves and intelligent and responsible enough to do things for themselves without whining "what do I do?" constantly.

I look for someone with similar interests to me. In particular, someone who likes music as much as I do, and will go to gigs with me, and someone who will spend time watching ducks with me.

I don't like people who are lazy either. I mean I'm not always a get up and go person, but men who never go out anywhere or do anything and sleep all the time aren't good.

It seems I am quite fussy. Strangely enough though, I have found a man who fulfils all my criteria and more, which is good.
