Would love to hear a show from Moyles that isen't a best of mainly because we will have that in Jan on the birthday. Perhaps just a normal show - what they do best.

Would love to hear some of Scotts features too, extended editions perhaps.

I just hope people like Jo Whiley and Nihal arn't on otherwise i'll be switching off straight away.

I'd like to hear more from the DJs we don't hear enough of such as Nihal, Greg James and even Aled. I imagine Chappers and Dave won't be doing too much this year like last year what with the birth of Nicole.

They should go against the trend and bring the Radio 1 Surgery out of darkness. Educate the nation over the festive period. Maybe even bring out an X-Rated Honesty Game show that Scott promised yonks ago. Bit of music in between the rounds and bring in some celebrities too.

Major quizzes don't always go down too well on radio but I'd like to see them buck the trend and perhaps in a 'Big Fat Quiz...' stylee get a team of DJs playing a bumper edition of Oh, What's Occurrin' in a show.

I want to hear some new stuff. Not these 'best of' shows that Radio 1 hammer out every year. Let's get some unique and new content.

i agree, christmas on rado 1 has been pretty drab over the last few yeas. At the very least i want live shows, not just repeats of the stuff from the last year!

I want to hear live stuff. I don't really like precorded stuff at all, and don't find it remotely funny.

I guess if they decide to do live stuff then it wont be most of the people that pull in the Audience. It will be Freelancers and specalists, etc.

Ahh I love the newsreaders they stick on over christmas. Its great to hear them as they are incapable of the simplest task.

Hopefully Greg will do a few slots this year like he did last.

Id like a mix of pre-record and live shows....not just a week of the best of...maybe some of the major DJs could prerecord a festive special with quizzes etc a couple of weeks before that has a live feel, (but doesnt pretend to actually be live)

Well xmas is not that good on radio 1. Trouble is all the best djs get holidays. Its not that bad considering. I like these best of shows.

There are not many places they could do an outside broadcast on xmas day. Everywhere is closed

I get the feeling he won't. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave Switch the job. After all, pre-teens are who will be stuck inside on NY's Eve.
