The daffodils are out all over campus, most of them have come out in the last week. I am looking forward to the clocks changing, since I am boycotting Easter this year, it will give some meaning to the day.

Probably less, aversion to religious festivals, more (I THINK) she isn't allowed chocolate for medical reasons.

Poor Lucinda. I'm not that keen on chocolate, but always have a bit on Easter Sunday.

Yep, that's why. My housemates keep buying Easter eggs and consuming them, despite it still being a few weeks off. I can't eat chocolate and I'm not a religious person, and I don't have a job to have public holidays from, so it has no meaning or purpose for me. My mum said she'll get me something nice that can't be eaten though, so it's not all bad.

My roses are now in full leaf. I'm going to have to feed them on the weekend. Usually it's around mid-March that the first feed should be applied to roses, so it's 2 weeks earlier than normal as with almost everything thus far.

i think it's starting to look better already, it was nice and sunny when i cleaned the car earlier. the light is lasting till around 6 and not long from now it will be 7. the latter end of last year went slow but since 2008 started it's going faster towards better weather. bring on the floods!

...bring on the floods!

I really hope we don't have a summer like last year. I'm not sure I can cope with all that rain again. I'm sure they were some sunny days, but I was probably stuck indoors writing my dissertation and/or working!

Another month and not only will it be Easter, but we'll be putting our clocks forward to British Summer Time. Not often do the two events overlap, but hurrah for brighter evenings!

I prefer the wintertime. Its much easier to justify spending ones entire time on the internet when the nights are dark.Maybe one day if I ever get a life I might actually enjoy the summertime.

they should change it to daylight savings and leave it that way, so we get more light at winter and summer. in the winter, most people at work all day from the early hours until around 5pm hardly get to see any light.

on the grid.
