Capital Radio's breakfast presenters have been really chuffed with the lovely comments you've left about the programme, and they want to give something back. So next week they've offered to come on the forums and answer some of your questions. Get your thinking caps on and post your questions for Chris and Jordan here. Since Capital has a reputation for being very slick, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on how that is achieved and what it feels like to work to such a standard?

Considering you both worked at R1 before, what are the biggest differences in production between them and Capital? 

Despite the ‘slickness’ on air, it sounds like you’re having a good laugh as mates, do you have to rein yourselves in at all, given how well you all know eachother?

What were the stress dreams before starting the new show?

You have both presented together before your show on Capital. Have you spent time together as friends since, or is the reunion like getting to know one another all over again?

 

I’m a long time listener in my mid 30s and now outside the R1 target audience age… Chris is into barbecuing and Jordan is into air frying, have you both noticed a change in the other since the days of R1? And are you under any pressure to be on trend at Capital?

Did it take a lot of tempting to go to Capital Jordan? Did you feel like you’d achieved everything you could at Radio 1 (other than breakfast)?

Chris, how did your Capital move come about? Did Radio 1 want you to stay after Scott moved on?

The Capital Breakfast show is right up my street so far - such a fun listen. You've both been great on Radio 1 and are sounding excellent again on Capital

A few quickfire questions:

You've both been part of some great pairings on radio and on podcast - what goes into making a duo or trio work and sound great on air?

Also, Chris - were there ever any discussions about you moving over to Radio 2 with Scott or had the Global offer already come first?

Also how do you both go about managing that split between your radio 'you' and the private 'you'? You share a lot on air but also there's some understandably some stuff you keep private (famously Jordan doesn't 'talk about those things'). And how do you make sure if you're having a miserable day or are a bit low that it doesn't come across too much on air?
