What show is he doing? Drive time? Breakfast? ;) I will just assume he does some sort of mash-up music.

Looks like we can expect a new line-up released within the next month then. Whether this will just be INMWT or daytime we will have to see.

im thinking maybe weekend breakfast once grimmy moves to colins show - timings are right!

Shame - my ideal person in this role would be Rob da Bank and not another kids presenter! Someone with some credibility! I remember a few years ago R1 was all about new music - now its all about young listeners!

If he is gettin an INDWT show then I wonder who if any of the current line up are going to get a permanent weekly slot

May just drop someone, they rotate the DJ's on this show, some getting regular slots such as Kutski, Kissy and in the past Eddie Halliwell. Some have also just left the show such as Tayo.

I could see Heidie going as she doesnt seem to be doing much, wheras nerm & d-code & dave spoon have done more stuff

Up-and-coming DJs Alex Metric and Toddla T are joining BBC Radio 1 as part of its In New DJs We Trust line-up.

The specialists DJs are being added to the roster for the rotational In New DJs we Trust slot on Friday mornings, lining up with Jaymo and Andy George and Heidi.

Ben Cooper, Deputy Controller, Radio 1, says: "The show is refreshed regularly to give new and emerging talent their first chance to broadcast on national radio.

"Alex Metric and Toddla T are exciting talent and we're pleased to welcome them to Radio 1."

Alex Metric says: "I'm really excited to be joining the Radio 1 team and getting the chance to share the music I love with all the listeners."

Toddla T adds: "When I was asked to do the show on Radio 1 I dropped the phone! I'm so happy – Steel City Sonix is coming to national radio!"
