Snigger snigger.

It'll definitely be better having it on the BBC, that way there won't be ad breaks whenever anything important happens... I don't like Lewis Hamilton as much as I used to though, he does tend to push his luck a LOT.

So save the last dance

For me my love 'cause I

I see you as an angel freshly fallen from the sky...

I cannot waaaaaait.

Although I am unamused at having to wait till the end of March rather than the beginning. Pah!

At least a non broken Webber is back and so is Honda for four races at least

Jenson Buton and Bruno Senna (Ayrton Senna's nephew) are rumored to drive the Mercedes (yes thats right!)powered cars

Who've they got presenting it this time?

Jake Hupheres is presenting i still wish Steve Rider jumped back

this is what i heard from digitalspy

*Jake Humphrey will be presenting the show on location with David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan as pundits. Lee McKensie and Ted Kravitz will be pitlane reporters, with Martin Brundle and Jonathan Legard as commentators.

*All live race and qualifying sessions will be on BBC One.

*Four streams are expected on the Red Button for every session: 1) World Feed; 2) Onboard; 3) Data; 4) Highlights.

*There will be an option to change commentators via the Red Button from for instance TV commentary to Radio commentary.

*Rolling race repeat re-runs on the Red Button every two hours after the live broadcast.

*Practice will be live on the Red Button. Unknown yet about support races (GP2, Porsche Supercup), although Red Button coverage is expected.

*Coverage will be streamed online - races will be put on iPlayer shortly after the completed duration.

*Only downside is that there is no HD coverage.

*The Chain is an almost certainty to be the theme. It'd be suicidal if it wasn't.

*There maybe a BBC Three preview show at 19:00 on Thursdays.

Are you on DS Craig?

I can't wait for the new season, I just wish it was starting normal time not end of March. It seems like so long to wait :( I can't wait for the BBC coverage, ITV did a great job but it looks like the Beeb are going to take it furthur. And re one of the above posts the count is a legend!

The former Honda Racing team looks to have been saved and will race in 2009 after team CEO Nick Fry said on Thursday that an announcement about the future of the squad would be made shortly.

The team’s CEO revealed the news when he appeared alongside his fellow Formula One Teams’ Association members at the body’s first public press conference in Geneva.

Although no official confirmation of the buyout has been made, reports over the past week have suggested that the existing management, led by team principal Ross Brawn, have won the Honda Japan board's backing to take over the squad.

Quite looking forward to it, even though I hate sports.

My entire family are F1 mad so can't help feeling very involved. My brother's girlfriend got him tickets to the Grand Prix for his 21st last year and they seemed to spend the whole time waiting outside hotels and guessing which driver was arriving due to which car they were driving.

I've seen the qualifying a couple of times but never the actual race, got my silverstone earplugs though, heh ;)

I posted this in my blog but I'll post it here too, the first half is where these guys control a remote control car with a Blackberry, the second half actual McLaren take over...

Prediction for 2009. The following drivers seem possible winners of the drivers championship based on testing times:

Barrichello, Button, Massa, Raikkonen, Vettel, Glock, Trulli, Kubica, Heidfeld, Alonso

I predict a very close season indeed

LOVE WILL TEAR US APART

Pre season testing has proved in the past to be very deceptive.
