i think that sounds line a pretty good line up for bank holiday!

i think grimmy might be involved soemwhere in the reshuffle - but would be dangerous to move him from switch! I dont think Annie will cover for Edith - she is doing weekends until september, when coxy is back , and then i can see her going to cover Jo's show while she is off. I also dont think greg will move from earlies yet!I think Ediths cover could be a completely unexpected announcement!

I can't see him doing it live.

Hey, hey, hey, if Greg has to do it, fill in for him, and almost the first few minutes of The Surgery, so should he. Why should he get to prerecord? Whether Greg's sitting on the toilet or in the Newbeat office, he always seems to find some way to do it. Why, the other day he was a second late and ran as fast as he could do do the first link, then there was the time he had to do it from the Newsbeat office.

I know that has nothing to do with it, but isn't Grimmy the one on all the magazines because he goes out and parties all the time? Radio is a commitment and shouldn't be something you have to prerecord because you're going out to some fancy party and tell your boss you're sick and can't go to work but instead someone spots you running around in Wales three hours before you're supposed to be on.

Because no one listens early on a bank holiday. It's why Scott didn't bother to put new features on his show when he was on breakfast on a bank holiday one time.

International listeners don't pay the bills so I can't imagine Radio 1 are quite going to care that much about it. There's always some listening all day, but that's not going to make them force DJs in for a bank holiday!

Well, we do give the BBC our money, not for radio though.

Oh, and it's only Dish that carries SIRIUS. But yeah, true.

Didn't catch Pete Tong but Huw Stephens was enjoyable to have on during lunch, and Daniel P Carter is playing a good mix at the moment. Green Day followed by AC/DC and now Muse. Not quite his normal playlist, but a good genre none the less.
