Disgusting. The thing that makes this worse is presenters like Vine who then pretend to care and understand on his programme, the hardship suffered by the hardworking majority at the moment. They should pass a law making this kind of practice illegal. If these BBC stars and others like them paid in their fair share of taxes, ours would also be lower.

Hopefully Chappers will become the Mills cover when Sara's off. He's a perfectly capable DJ and does a very good job. I enjoy listening to him on his own in the afternoon, makes a nice change (no disrespect to Scott)

What Chris basically means is he doesn't want Scott to seem better at doing breakfast than he is (and Scott does do breakfast extremely well)

I'm enjoying this week. Vernon on breakfast and then Sara in for Jo's great. I can see the regular Moyles listeners not enjoying him as much, but then they would be the same with Scott.

How do they calculate these figures ?? Can they tell what radio station your tuned in to ?? and if so how do they know how old you are ?? Sorry very confused :confused:

I think that Fearne on a weekday slot will prove a big mistake. By Christmas she will proberbly be off as RAJAR figures will no doubt show a huge nosedive in the number of listeners. I think Sara might be after a slot on Radio 2 - Zoe Ball (remember her ?!?!) has got a weekend slot, and it seems to be very popular. Sara might be used to try and remove some of the "older" listeners from radio 1 (please don't take that in an offensive way).

I think Alex would make a good replacement for Moyles, should he be shoved off his breky show by some faceless idiot at the beeb. Alex is a very funny comedian and broadcaster, and together with his team from Xfm Breakfast show it would be ideal for the weekday morning.
