Pretty much all the supercar makers are owned by someone else now (not Ferrari though I don't think). Volkswagen own Bugatti. Good call on the Beetle - there's one at work with a big 73 sticker on the side (as in Herbie)!

volkswagen own Bentley, Lamborghini and a few other companies too, a £3 million loss can't be much compared to how much money volkswagen must make as a company. But its still far more than i'd ever get in a whole lifetime!

I just had to comment on tonight's show - the travelogue around the US - a funny journey between some good mates, and a hoot to watch. The final bit where they got to New Orleans really made me think. How CAN the richest country in the world just leave a big city like that in that state after A YEAR?

I've watched most of this because my friend got it off YouTube. It's really funny. We contemplated missing our lecture to watch the last 10 minutes, but chose the lecture. The lecture was rubbish and I wish we'd watched Top Gear instead. The slogans on the cars were brilliant, and it showed angry southerners brilliantly. The bit with the road kill cow was kind of disgusting, but funny. Very entertaining, even to someone like me who has no interest in cars whatsoever. I'm going to watch the rest at 4pm.
