Stressed about having a test tomorrow in psychology as I know I can do it, it's just motivating myself to revise. It's quite difficult too, didn't help working tonight - when they didn't appear to need me.

Then some rude 'un spilt ribena on me. Had a phone call from the paper and they seem keen on getting me to do some articles. So it's busy busy busy for me at the moment... sigh

I have got to go down the gym now. And it's raining outside. But commitment comes 1st! I have been enjoying JK & Joel so far, this is another reason why they should be where Colin & Edith are.

on the grid.

Im really Happy just come back from a hockey match where i was captin for our school u15 team and we won wooo..except i ended up with a really bad hand injury(there was a bit of captin rivalry during the match-the captin for the oppisate team hit my hand instead of the ball )

But i got to miss a whole afternoon off school cos of it and it was well worth it...

Having an interesting day. Got a letter through about a job I applied for inviting me for an interview (which means I now have to go and learn everything that I told them I already knew). Then I got bored this afternoon so I shaved off my sideburns. Now I look about 12.

Haha nice...

My day's been alright I think. Bit tired/bored/restless this evening though. The morning consisted of a psychology exam, which I think I did reasonably okay, but I'm not someone to predict results, etc

I was always shit at predicting my exam results. I normally did shit in the ones I thought went well. Only seemed to work the other way occasionally though, so looking back at most of the exams I've done I haven't done all that well really!

I did Psychology as one of my minors in first year - it was the only course out of the three Iwas doing that I passed first time!

Well I'm currently celebrating having nothing to celebrate by having a couple of glasses of wine and listening to some hilariously filthy hip-hop. Too Short - if you haven't heard them try and download a few tracks. I'd stick a few lines of their songs on here but I fear they may offend some people!

You just have to be careful!

Things seem to have changed a bit now though. I thought that we had it fairly strict considering what people of my sisters age used to get up to, but looking back we used to get away with so much more than people do nowadays!

Yeh,i know people who have been suspended for drinking the night before and still being a bit drunk in school, which i dont want.

Was a good match though-except for the captin rivalry.

That one of the reason I've never been a big fan of team sports. Petty rivalry and arguments seem to take away some of the point of being involved in sport. Still, I'm sure you managed to enjoy it all the same. Congrats on getting through to the semis.

bless my dad had to pick me up from swimming and he missed the only goal... lol

hmm ive decided, in all the girls magazines they need to teach you how to reject guys and not just how to get them. another of the lifeguards today at swimming wanted my number. thankfully he asked his friend to ask me, cos the friend kind of knows me. but i didnt know what to say, so kinda half-laughed. and the friend goes "i take it thats a no then". i just nodded. now i feel so guilty! hmm maybe i will just be nice to him next week if hes working and he will be ok.... damn conscience of mine. (and i dont have the flirt divert number, cos i would feel more guilty giving that out!)

    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • "Grandad Nelson" lolllll 😂
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
    • I remember hearing Amy first on Scotts show and she was great on that, the daft quiz questions always made me smile. It's really nice to see the hard work has paid off for them all.
    • Actually the worst tends to be those who comment on Radio Today news stories. People who haven’t listened to younger oriented radio stations in years who say things like “who?” about any job going to any presenter aged younger than 50.
    • Ahhh very happy for Amy - that’s very well deserved! I didn’t hear their final show but are Matt and Mollie keeping Helena? Hopefully she might be the main producer of their new show!
    • I bet Amy and Greg are going to be fun together
    • Ah that's great for Amy. Yes I assumed she would be going back to afternoons!
