  1. Haha that's what I was going to say... Iplayer is the saviour of students! Last year in halls I didnt have a TV licence and still watched Iplayer, because at the time you didnt need one, and there was also no live streaming. Now I live in a house so have a tv and licence (but still rely on Iplayer!). I vote just put some adverts at the beginning like the others and let us have it for free still

  4. according to the letter they sent me offering me car insurance sth like: 85% of accidents are caused by men 80% of speeding offences are caused by men something along them lines, i chucked away the letter. so there would be no market for a male-only car insurance firm. the insurance would be so high. its not necessarily sexist, they just know that they can offer cheaper car insurance by insuring only women cos apparently there is statistically less chance of them having an accident. all about making money. for all we know, a guy thought up the idea. obviously im not generalising that men arent as good drivers as us women, you only have to watch me parking to find that out they just miss out the fact that generally women are less willing to drive as well i suppose. men will more often than not do the driving if there is a couple. onto the single however.... god help us all!

im the first to post on here that really will die if i dont get the results i want. well ok, maybe an exaggeration, but seriously, if i dont get AAB, then i wont get into my first uni and wont be happy cos i want to go to Bath! English A-level results are the thurs 16th GCSES are thurs 23rd good luck to all. these exam results have to be the most nervewracking ones yet!
  6. no jono, you misunderstand i was brought onto this earth to give therapy to the people who have met you. try and help them forget the terrible experience
  7. Your Birthdate: February 24 You understand people well and are a natural born therapist. A peacemaker, people always seem to get along when you are around. You tend to be a father or mother figure to friends, even to those older than you. You enjoy your role, and you find that you are close to many people. Your strength: Your devotion Your weakness: Reliance on others for happiness Your power color: Lilac Your power symbol: Heart Your power month: June What Does Your Birth Date Mean? http://blogthings.com/whatdoesyourbirthdatemeanquiz/ hmm... i spose it's kind of true. june...power month... lets hope them exams benefit from them then! lots of summer birthdays on here!
  8. i'd say different personally. i suppose it depends on the style and item of clothing though. (ie. fitting into a size 8 skirt and jeans are two completely different things(no jono, not at the same time:p)). H&M and shops like that are the shops you generally go into and come out feeling worse since the sizes are different there! primark is better for me :-) altho maybe its cos i can have 8-10 which covers both sizes, whereas the other shops are less flexible. another pet hate (although it doesnt happen anymore) is when you get the "inbetween sizes" which aren't right for you. Primark used to have them differently. They had i think 6-8 (or none at all like this?) and they definately had 10-12. The 10-12 was always too big, so on the rare occasion i'd find something smaller, it was too small! we could all go on for a while with this im guessing ...
  9. i didnt even know it was sales time. i'm that clued up! i generally like clothes shopping, but only when i properly need stuff. if not i don't like spending too much! i'm more prone to going on a biggish shopping trip and buying loads of things (most of which i need) rather than going for the sake of it and buying an item or so everytime i go up. sales generally annoy me when they are way too busy. obviously reduction in prices is nice, but when i actually see something i like, they are completely the wrong sizes! my size generally goes quicker i'd presume then! oh, and i actually HATE shoe shopping. im sure that would work as a good chat up line for the guys :-p
  10. i kinda thought that  but i dont want to be bitchy. and i think its just the picture that makes it look that way. got to discourage skinny nothingness women (unless you're naturally that way ofcourse )
  11. ha, gang up on me then why dont u emma: what, when, where? sth to do with parties (the alcohol)? or just cos u miss the bottle of tequilla that u had been trying to get rid of for a while
