My Dad says things like Innit and Hip 'n' Happin and his favorite word is Cool.

He says its because its the sort of thing that he used to say when he was younger and that he shouldn't stop saying it!

He's 43 for crying out loud!

Its so embarrising he even says that sort of thing in public!

Haha, that would have been funny. I don't really understand why people say 'innit' though :l It's not even that common where I live to say it

Innit is realy common in Scotland. Not because we're all chavs, but because we're the laziest speakers on the planet i think. Everything gets rolled into one word.

It's not a common phase that she says but my grandmother who's in her 60s came round once and asked me if I'd been watching "adult films" in front of the family.
