live and kicking was classic. everything about kids tv now has gone down the pan. my dj friend said he switched on saturday morning tv the other day for around the first time in 5 years and saw some cartoon about mimes that save the world.

Saturday morning TV isn't good at all. The last time I was up at 7:30am on a weekend and bored, which was about a month ago, I watched E4 music because the kids TV was rubbish.

I remember him, he presented Get Your Own Back, and Playdays. I remember watching Playdays... scary to think how many years ago I watched that.

kids tv was good for me pre 2002, nothing over that year really. yeah i remember playdays, and pingu (i used to collect the video's), and the CLASSIC fireman sam.

our generations kids TV was by far the best! Get your own back was amazing as was Playdays!

and the roundabout stop was THE best. I used to love it! I remember being disappointed when we got the puppet stop (Peggy?)

I hated Peggy Patch with a passion. Never liked Tuesday and Thursdays of Playdays. Or the playground stop. Probably because she was all about sharing and going into fields to do knitting. She was so out of touch.

i gave my cousins my old collection around 6 years ago. becuase i hadn't watched them for years, and i thought it was a shame to leave them around. out of interest i will ask my auntie if they still even exist.

I used to watch Rosie and Jim! And Fireman Sam, and Thomas the Tank Engine videos, and Rupert the Bear videos too. I think we've still got a lot of these videos at home :-? my mum never gets rid of videos.
