I don't 'get' these new Radio 1 adverts. I'm just not sure of the concept really - not sure how it'll attract new listeners to the station.

However i (sadly) like the advert until her stupid grin at the end. The music is wrong as well. It just doesn't go.

So change the music and get rid of that smug grin and i think its the best one.

These adverts are really exciting me - creatively they are quite genius! I hope that we get to see them all together to see how they relate to each other and the station!

Im guessing that Gregs, Grimmy, or Dev will be next?

Do you think they will do one for each of the weekend line up DJs? Or perhaps do a combined one for each of Weekend Daytime DJs, Dance Night, Black Music Night and then Switch?

These ads are still shit, and this was just as shit. A fruitless exercise in advertising that only succeeds in pointing to itself and saying "this has nothing to do with our radio station or our output, but you bet we're going to help the jelly market during this recession, whilst we look like utter twats."

Perhaps the purpose was just to make stills of it for posters. Because that's the only way it kind of makes sense.

Why would they go so far with TV adverts just for print advertising? If anything, posters would be far cheaper and easier, especially with Photoshop around.

It just looks like pretentious cock. It looks pretty, but it doesn't sell the station at all.
