Chris is on a roll and sounding really good at the moment.

But i think it would be a bad habit to get into just having a day off for 'a rest', i think it probably will be for a reason like a family commitment for example or other work away from the BBC that doesn't involve the rest of the team!

What do we think about Vernon becoming a regular cover for Chris? This is the second time now and its unusual as Scott usually gets this gig with Greg doing the afternnon.

It depends on the type of cover though - Vernon covers for Chris himself and slots in with the team, and for the longer periods where the rest of the team is on a break, Scott Mills fills in for the whole show with his team.

Since Chris said Vernon can't mix, Vernon has come back saying that Moyles is a one CD wonder this morning. He's also said there maybe be a sound clash between them sometime soon. But don't hold your breath

Sorry, should have said in the post. Vernon's might be doing it cos Greg can't cover Scotts show if Scott was to do it. It's only one day anyway.

or its much much easier on the schedule to just get Vernon to do it rather than move 3 people around for the sake of 1
