Thankyou Jono for putting it online :D I was in a strop yesterday, I had a rubbish day and then not being able to watch Scott and the Hoff annoyed me more. Let's just say I'm a happy bunny now. It must have been a lot of work for you and I just wanted to let you know it was appreciated. x

This was so funny. Loved the tongue in cheek, mocking reality show style commentary.

Wonder who wrote it? Scott delivered it very well. After this, I honestly now feel he's a better actor than we give him credit for. ;) Mind you, how much is real and how much is acted out for the cameras? Hmmm.

I still maintain that The Hoff is, in the words of Dizzee "Bonkers"!

'To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one of the first requisites of sanity'.

To be fair the whole thing seemed very genuine to me. I thought it showed them both in a good light, which was something I wasn't expecting.

However I do think the Hoff needs to calm down, he is pushing the limit for his age.

"I NEED A COFFEE!!!" :D

Well someone wrote the commentary obviously, and this is the part that made the programme for me, but yes, you can see that they get on well.

WARNING - Really geeky request.

Does anybody have a high-res screen capture of when scott was talking to that lady and he steps back from his laptop.....I want to see what programs he's running, just incase there is anything useful :)

There seems to be too alot oo docs and programs so i'd imagine it actually was his laptop. Plus its the same one we saw on scottcam.

The exact screen capture I want is attached, but its low-res. (7.26 - part 1). It dosn't have HQ available on YouTube as some of the others do....

PS - I know i am being very very sad.

------

Also, just been watching the show and I dont think Moyles will be very happy when he watches it. Regarding the referance to do the 'Radio 1 Breakfast Show'. Although we all know what he ment, I dont think that viewers than don't listen to R1 will know.

He was covering the Breakfast Show that week.

Yes i know, that was my exact point! Read my post again.

The way he said it on the program made it sound like he did breakfast all the time and to anybody that didn't really know about Radio 1 they would think Scott did breakfast, etc.

Ofcourse we all know that isn't the case so didn't think much of the remark!

I didn't think he made it sound like he did breakfast all the time. Tho maybe it's cos I know he was covering?

Thats just what a sort of got from it although I also knew he was covering.

I think his words where:

"i'm tired and jet lagged after doing a radio 1 breakfast show this morning"

Not that people will really care if they don't listen to Radio 1 anyway, but it sort of just implied that he did it all the time as he didn't mention cover, etc. I know he was trying to be short and sweet though.

I really enjoyed the show on a whole. Is the final part next monday? Hopefully Jono will do his 'thang again and upload the videos again.

Don't really see how it's significant. He did do the breakfast show. The majority of viewers are aware of Scott's show anyway.

    • I guess we'll have to wait and see when the new schedule kicks in, although I could see Scott staying where he is.  Assuming that's the case and there are no other moves, there would be several available studios for Matt & Mollie - 82C or 82E of the 'old' studios, and 82M or 82N of the new ones.
    • The BBC commissioning brief mentions it is a 'mid morning show' for Radio 1 Dance https://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/radio/documents/comm_brief_r1_dance_morning_show.pdf
    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
