They should get Posh Radio 4 Lady to do all of the voiceovers..spread her popularity!

The only problem with that is she's not allowed to do other imaging work - it's in her Radio 4 contract.

Ofcourse It was just a voiceover artist, this is the bbc they not going to let members of the public do the voiceover?

i am almost positive they are the same, i just need to hear it from someone in authority and have it confirmed! Does anyone have any othe clips of her, e.g the power intros they do?

I'm pretty sure Sam the Eagle off of the Muppets is Alistair Darling too. Can anyone confirm this? Perhaps Gordon Brown could drop in.

i realised the first two were here and have downloaded them, just wondered whether anyone could upload any more for me as my Net Transport i use to download the R1 shows is currently playing silly beggars! If anyone could upload clean (ish) sweepers or Power Intros (1tros) that would be great.

I must admit, her voices REALLY annoys me. 'Holly' isn't as good as the other girl was. Although they are still using some of the previous jingles too, I was listening to Edith today and she had an old jingle.

I'm PRAYING that they decided to scrap that girl :) lol

I doubt they thought it was worth it for another week. She's back to weekdays soon.

      There's been a lot of positive reaction to the Mylo and Rosie news so am interested now to hear what their shows are like. And yep wouldn't be surprised if they stay on beyond July as cover ever so often. And that Friday-Sunday news was hidden in the small print a little. It presumably means we lose Party Anthems all that month as that is what has happened this year with Big Weekend, Glasto for example. I certainly I hope it isn't Party Anthems being quietly axed full stop - it and Future Pop are 2 real hidden gems on Radio 1.

      -Considering how little Jamie has appeared since Vick went off on maternity, it probably would've been more sensible to have Sam & Danni taking over from that point and have him return with Katie. - Mylo and Rosie are apparently very good and one of the more popular local presenters who lost their slot when Hits went fully national. I gather they are very popular in Yorkshire. I can see them definitely see them popping up again beyond this stint. -Life Hacks cover is yet another good opportunity for some new voices (I know Yinka has popped up in the past). I have enjoyed Pete Allison covering though. I'm assuming most of August's Friday to Sunday 1-4pm will be made up of festival coverage.

      - Jamie Laing will take a break from Going Home from 28th July. Sam and Danni will cover. - Greg James will host his show until 11am from 21st July (Monday to Thursday only). - Mylo and Rosie, who previously hosted Hits Radio Breakfast in West Yorkshire, will host Friday EB in July. - Charley Marlowe of TikTok fame will host Friday EB in August. - Tskenya Frazer will host Life Hacks with Lauren Layfield in July, whilst Yinka Bikinni will host with Lauren in August. - Jamie Laing and Katie Thistleton will return to Going Home in September.
