Hadouken appear to be playing Radio 1's Big Weekend. There's a huge tour taking place in May, and the only free days they have are 10th and 11th of May which coincides with the big weekend.

why have they chosen a boy and girl from maidstone who sound like scott when he joined radio 1? why do the station pick such stereotypical sounding people to do the voiceovers?

It's their way of making it sound unique for each location.

A bit worrying is that they had Jody Latham as the Preston voice before making him the official station voice shortly after. Does this mean these two will be the new voices after the Big Weekend?
