I curled mine and pinned it to the side but it got on my nerves a fair bit because I kept thinking it would fall out, so I'd try keep it loose instead of pinned.

I did exactly that, too!

Don't know what your hair is like, but mine is just below shoulder length and blonde-ish.

I seems like a good idea when you have a special occasion to have it pinned up, but believe me, it's annoying. You can't release it, cos it'll look crap, with all the stuff that needs to be put in it.

Have it styled down, much better. You can always put it up yourself later when you're dancing!:)

its longish, straight and dark blonde. and the dress is ice blue.

my mum really wants me to have it in soft curls and half-up/half-down.

but i bet loads of people will have it like that.

would look nice though.

proms, i dno, are they really worth the trouble? im not even a really girly girl, i dno why im bothered.

and i don't know, this could break my heart or save me...

Exactly the colour I wore to my first 'event'!

I would say seriously styled soft curls too actually, but down. Then you can go the the loos, have girly chats and put it up later.

Have a great time anyway, and let us know your decision.:D

I'm not a girly girl either, but it's nice to be sometimes!
