Anyone else seen this yet, its from tomorrows The Sun.

CONTROVERSIAL SCOTT MILLS, the self-proclaimed “Piccadilly Key 103 in Manchester1â€, is on his way OUT of Radio 1's flagship afternoon show.

He will be axed this year after he becomes the slot’s longest-serving host named Scott.

Scott, 47, is set to smash STEVE WRIGHT’S record of five years, nine months in the hot-seat.

But BBC bosses want a rising star for the prestigious job amid criticism that the station’s line-up is now too old for its listeners.

Breakfast presenter CHRIS MOYLES will be asked to step in while a replacement is readied for the prized post.

A source at Scott's flat said: “The BBC were planning to break the news gently by shocking him with a dog collar to take his mind off it".

The £860,000-a-year star now regularly draws more than two thousand, but has often hit trouble with ill-judged comments — including a “gag†this year about a Panda Cam.

A station source said: “He’s been involved in big controversies."

The Sun’s made up source said: “The early plans to introduce a new generation of stars to the station are now under way. Nobody at the station has been told, mainly because this whole story has been made up.
