Hahaha oh how I loved it - my favourites were the guy whose idol was Gene Kelly and he danced to a Michael Jackson track, Gwyneth the witch, the dancing Greek father and son, Flawless and then Fabia.

That old looking woman was lovely. I felt sorry for her. She will no doubt do well from this. Biggest laugh for me was the father and son dancing. I didn't catch all of it last night but I will no doubt hear more about this on Radio 1 on Tuesday!

My little brother cried when the woman at the end did a strip :(

I have to admit I was slightly disturbed at that - something to do with the fact she was the spitting image of my film tutor.

I know sombeody who is going to be on there, a caberet singer, won lots of award all over the country!

Ok... for me saying this i got the following email

Hi Danielle,

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you like this! I came across a post on unofficialmills.co.uk that led me to you! You mentioned that you know a cabaret singer who is going to be on Britains Got Talent and I’m hoping you might be able to put me in touch with him/her?!

I work for a TV production company called Zigzag Productions and at the moment we are making a documentary for Channel 5 called Simon Cowell – Where Did It All Go Right?’ The documentary will take a look at Simons life, covering his earliest days growing up in Elstree, his progression from a postboy at EMI to the man that has changed the face of TV and conquered America! It will be a light hearted biography including interviews with friends, and acts he has worked with along the way.

Obviously, among Simons many achievements, we will be covering the success of Britains Got Talent. As it is currently on our screens we are hoping to find a contestant, whose audition has not yet been shown, that we could talk to about the experience! I am hoping you might be able to put us in touch with the cabaret performer you mentioned.

There is no commitment to filming or anything like that at this stage, we are just in research stages, but it would be an enormous help and greatly appreciated if you could send this email to your friend or let me know how I could contact him/her.

Please email me if you have any questions. I can also be contacted on the number below

Let me know what you think. I hope to hear from you soon.

Kindest regards

Emma Sheridan

I dont really know what to do... hahaha

    • https://youtu.be/A_Cycjg5_9A?si=NiLTFeiTNWBExFoR   As barmy as Sam Ryder has now gone, as shown in this video. I'd still rather it than that bland Olly Alexander record.
    • I like Scott, and I listen to Rylan's show every week... they do sound great together on Eurovision etc but.. as for a daily show together, I don't think it would work. Rylan would probably have to reign it in a bit which would lose his appeal, otherwise it may become too chaotic, in my opinion. That Saturday slot is perfect for Rylan, his rapport with Sally Traffic and Lottie is great. I suppose it comes down to cost as well and if he would want a daily show?   Radio 2 are clearly happy with Scott's show, and considering he's just won Best Entertainment Show at the ARIA's, I can't see them changing much.
    • A win for Scott which is fantastic after the last few years he's been through!
    • Am I outnumbered for not wanting to work in radio? It feels like there's a lot of geeks that want a job in the industry here.
    • Thought Sam and Danni were robbed of an award.
    • OJ Borg is in for Trevor Nelson on the Rhythm Nation tonight (with Phill Williams on overnight). He's also in for Michael Ball for the next two Sundays (12th and 19th May). Ros Atkins (BBC's Analysis editior) is in for Jeremy Vine on Thursday. Another new name to Radio 2 is Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales. He sat in for Owain Wynn Evans yesterday and he's in again this Thursday (9th May) and Bank Holiday Monday (27th) Spoony in for Scott Mills from Tuesday 28th till Friday 31st May.
    • Thought they would make it easier to get to this event. There's been no communication from the council or organisers about travel, even though there's talk of train strikes. Smaller councils have done a better job.
    • They do sound good together, but I'm not sure Rylan will want the extra commitments.
    • I have accepted Chris is unlikely to join Scott's show, and that Chappers has moved on, but I still think he could do with a co-host. The most logical solution, I think, is Rylan. He appears more often on his show than not, and they are great together. Radio 2 could lose Rylan's Saturday show and extend his reach by appearing during the week. I think they'd be great!
    • Tattoo took a while to grow on me. I couldn't see the fuss until weeks after. We have a split household here where the war on Gaza is overshadowing an enjoyment. I'm hoping for a protest of some sort.
    • I've heard that the staging is very impressive.  That and him being "known" might prevent an embarrassing result.  I'm a terrible judge of Eurovision though as Tattoo is still so very meh to me.
    • Feels like after the success of Sam Ryder we are going back to our old ways. Olly Alexander's song is pretty weak. Anyone fancy our chances this year?
    • The more time goes on the more you think if they'd actually put some thought into it it should've been Vick & Katie from the start. A proven pairing and Katie ended up on the show anyway - whereas Katie's even mentioned she was only asked to join after the Jamie announcement And even by Going Home standards on time off, it's quite funny that a few months in we still haven't had a full week of the supposed line-up - and that's with a 4-day week.
