Should anyone play whilst Madonna's on?

Yeah poor Annie Mac! If I was lucky enough to get tickets I'd want to see Annie Mac but would feel the need to go and see Madonna too just because It's Madonna.

Agreed. Madonna isn't quite my taste but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and you could see Annie Mac or the Editors any day. As Madonna will probably be last one you would have thought they'd get everyone to congregate together for her set.

Apparently organisers have planned for Madonna to play at the same time as Editors and Annie Mac. I would imagine most will want to see Madonna, despite what their tastes are.

No they won't. If I was there I'd watch Editors.

It's never a problem at any other festival when there's a headline act. Other stages get more than enough people there. Not everyone will want to see Madonna.

I'd love to see Editors but I think I'd feel obliged to see Madonna. I just feel that I will have plenty of opportunities to see Editors (e.g. Reading). It's much more difficult to be able to see Madonna at a concert, and even though I'm not a big fan, she is the queen of pop.

We have had this arguement on the reading facebook group about rage against the machine and bands on at the same time.

There are a lot of people saying its a once in a lifetime chance, but regardless a lot of people are making the point that if they dont listen to them normally they would rather go and see something they like and normally listen to. End of the day not everyone is going to like Madonna, so it will be nice to have a bit of other choice

Unfortunately it takes quite a bit of being manhandled and shoved about by the other members of the crowd to secure a good view at a festival - so in my experience this isn't usually possible. Tis a shame though.

Well the BBC TV show is only going to be 45 minutes, I personally can't see her doing more than that. There's a lot of bands to get through.
