Caught the end of his show, amongst my favourites was when he played Dario G.

Sara Cox playing Firestarter by The Prodigy was a good way to start, but to me, she's went downhill a bit from there. maybe it'll brighten up when Dave Pearce comes on to do the shuffle.

even the legend that is Dave Pearce got some of the songs wrong! Guess he was tired from constantly working over the past 5 nights as he said.... Bring on 5 hours of dance anthems. Take plenty of caffeine Dave and you'll be fine!!!

I've had radio 1 on for most of the day - brill dance tunes (or should that be dance tunes ahoy?)....

I've been quite impressed with the music played on today's "rock day" was so far, was nice to hear La Tristesse Durera by the Manics and of course the genius piece of music that is Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard.

I some how can't see Reggie's three hours being much of a musical treat. "Oh my god innit we're playing indie today and it is wiiiiiiiiiiiiicked. Alright this is The Strokes i think and i been playing his recordz since i was a kid. Yeah bruvvvv. Hit it!"

I seriously hope Scott isn't going to play that "it's here..." advert after every single song! Was Mark Goodier that expensive they have to use it every second to justify the money?

I didn't realise that David Garrido does the sport on Radio Two as well as Radio One. That's one lucky man, right there.

ETA: Radio Two play some rubbish music. Stevie Wonder was alright, but most of it's utter tosh.

I thought I heard David's name being mentioned by Mr Hammond, but wasn't that sure. Agree that radio 2 do play some cr@p music, although have it on in morning - parents choice, not mine!

I have to thank Reggie for playing Status Quo at the top of his show. My parents were like "they're playing here on Saturday, we should go."

I was like, if I get rid of them, my sister is out, I will have a free house on my birthday. So searched ebay, and there was a decent price couple of tickets.

Maybe he does the 'cryo-sleep' thing for a couple of weeks to stop his skin from ageing from all the sunbeds/tanning products...? He could have been technically dead the last couple of weeks?

Not bad thanks. Actually a bit bored for a Bank Holiday Monday... All the local roads around here are still full of people going home from Leeds festival.

Can't really say I'm liking the 'rock' theme of today either

I'm under the impression the posh neighbours will be upset with the loud music, but it's a bank holiday, they need to live a little!
