Were you put on this site to obsess about anything but radio 1? Oh this an all time low at the hotel, a tree has fallen next to the tube station, and I'm sitting here watching the gameshows on ITV.

That is the best Vodcast yet! Can you let them know the latest podcast won't download tho Jono :(

Ah, Tuesday's podcast? I get an error too, I've passed it on to the top dog here, and he's passed it on to the lady who puts them up.

Oh dear, it's the moment I've feared, they want me to sort out Will's tapes. Save me!

I like turtles...

But it's the UK's official Number 1. Surely that's more of a priority. I always thought Radio 1 had regulations that prevented them from playing songs as early as other music stations do.

One song I am loving at the moment is from Ali Love. I keep forgetting to hammer the fact that he's off of the Norfolk countryside. Can you believe that. A decent artist who grew up around tractors and cows?

I just posted this in 'Your Views' unaware it was being talked about here...

Really? He's from Norfolk? I always thought he was foreign, for some reason. One of your crowd, Jono!

That's true DC. But I guess it's Radio 1 saying 'we played it ages ago, look it's still Number 1'. And she's obviously a bit of a friend of the station doing the big weekend. Whereas maybe Radio 1 don't like her new song. It's the same with Gnarles Barkley. Number 1 for 9 weeks, then they released a new song, and they didn't catch on to it much.

Karma hits the Radio 1 office. I can't do the glamorous job of sorting tapes yet, as they've lost an important document that is required to do it.

Get in! Edith is playing 'Girls Who Play Guitars' off of Maximo Park. That track is my favourite on the album, hope Scott has it to play this afternoon. Presumably it's their next single.

Alrite treacle, I will be listening but might do some cleaning im getting a right obsessive with cleaning. There was a huge house party on friday night at a big house in harrogate where the parents were away and a girl had let her friends use the house, £15,000 worth of damage! Im having a party on sunday night and my parents are like "I think we'll stay in now.." :|

John?? The name rings a bell... aren't you the person who doesn't reply to PMs?! :P

Wish Scott would stop talking about Sangria, I really, really want some now.

Arrrrgh, don't you just hate when people leave the bathroom floor wet, and you get soggy socks?! :(

    • I guess we'll have to wait and see when the new schedule kicks in, although I could see Scott staying where he is.  Assuming that's the case and there are no other moves, there would be several available studios for Matt & Mollie - 82C or 82E of the 'old' studios, and 82M or 82N of the new ones.
    • The BBC commissioning brief mentions it is a 'mid morning show' for Radio 1 Dance https://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/radio/documents/comm_brief_r1_dance_morning_show.pdf
    • Nothing to apologise about, I was just intrigued on how DS and UM react
    • I would be pretty confident that if they keep avoiding using James Cusack on that slot over the next few weeks, then it will probably be him that gets the show permanently!
    • That’s two names who probably won’t be doing that slot permanently then.
    • Moyles spent most of the 52hr sgow calling him that lol
    • I stand guilty as charged as the DS poster.... It was I Okay, so yes Connor has good energy and does the show well, I take it back, however, my last experience of him he spent every other link saying "It's Connor Coates in for the ledge that is Charlie Hedges" and then he started saying "Clem Douglas" - again after critisising that I see she is styled as that sometimes The point I was trying to make was, yes we know it's Charlies show, we know she is a ledge, and we know she is not here today, no need to keep reminding us Regards R1 dance, I suspect Arielle is pointed at the drivetime slot to go against Mistajam unless we know it is breakfast that will be live ? Apologies to Connor and anyone offended by my comments, was just going on my past experience of Mr Coates, who seems to be a very competnt presenter
    • I know we have discussed this before, but can someone shed some light hoping @Lily Georgia can help Since the Wogan House closure, and 1-330 from Manchester, studio 82A (Mills) has been used by Scott's R2 show, in fact i note that him and Grandad Nelson are from there now days The question I have is with 1-330 coming from London again soon, who is getting a new studio? will Scott move to one of the newer ones down the corridor or will he remain in 82A and M&M get a new studio They cannot use 82D as that is used for drive, and currenlty 82A is in use by Scott from 2-4pm In the old days it used to be 82A for Greg, Scott, Annie and 82D Adele, RMC, Drive, Jack I note that Jack is in a brand new studio so maybe M&M will come from that one as well, maybe the same one as Vine uses?
    • Maia Beth is doing Friday Early Breakfast on 7th & 14th June.
    • Joel Mitchell is in for Nat on Sunday 9th June.
    • Ore Olukoga is on 13.00-16.00 on Friday 31st May and Friday 7th June.  Nikita Kanda is doing Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June.
    • Very pleased for producer Amy - it's no coincidence many of the best shows in recent years have had her working on them. You can tell her & Helena are a great production duo and that the whole Matt & Mollie team are a really close-knit unit in general. Some lovely speeches by both Matt & Mollie too to end the show on Sunday.
    • Echo what most have said here. Connor has great energy which is important for that sort of slot and the shame for him is that the dance line-up is so strong that there's no obvious 'in' for him to get a regular slot -Danny, Sarah, Pete Tong, Arielle, Charlie Hedges, Jerry and Charlie Tee are all great in their slots. A live show on Radio 1 Dance really feels the obvious way to get a proper foot in the door at Radio 1. Although to be fair to the DS critic I think it was just the one poster and can very much hear Connor in my head saying 'in for the legend that is Charlie Hedges'.
    • James Cusack is in for Jack on Friday 14th June, doing the chart while Jack is at Download.
