I had a great day and a amusing lunchtime....it was snowing so we thought we should set up a campfire in the middle of the form room and sing campfire songs with guitars and all that jazz..was great fun until the teacher walked in.

Its been snowing loads over here over the past 2 hours and its very deep..was caught in a bit of a blizzard on the way home and the head teachers were out in force with their megaphones shouting "put down those snow balls".

Tutorial was cancelled after pestering our teach to let us go out and "have fun" in the snow which is good cos all i wanted to do was go home and sit by the fire,I still feel very off colour.

Tonight im off to make pancakes with some mates and have a massive snow ball fight woo.

I recognise that road is it a main one?Yep our house,garden and street is just like Johns..but its bley freezing..i couldnt feel my feet earlier walking home in the snow.

Not so much a main road, a short cut road straight into halifax usually

ahh i see,not too familiar with halifax i just go up that way to Ikea and the retail park..

Productive in a way, considering the sample material for the newspaper has been done and is waiting for the editor to OK. Spent the afternoon chatting on MSN, and now I'm off to earn some cash at work.

I am in some pain. I must of hurt myself when i was at the gym yesterday. It is killing right under my chest just under my last rib right now. I put some deap heat on it and hopefully it should be ok later.

Alrite day today slept in till about 1 ish and then went to work...went shopping and then ended up missing a couple of buses home.Its also the Lib dem conference up here this weekend and theres loads of people around town.

Tonight im supposed to be going out..meeting at my mates house in about 20 mins and i havent had my dinner yet and i have to ring back a mate who rang me earlier today.

oooohh i suppose i just got the bestest news ever...

dad texted me to let me know he's coming home tommorow-managed to get a plane ticket 2 weeks earlier cos theres nothing to do...mum doesnt know yet so tommorow night its going to be one big surprise.Im happy.

and no i didnt get out tonight missed my lift into leeds there was no buses and i wasnt prepared to walk over to the bus station across the stray in the snow to find there was no bus..soo i stayed in tonight on msn,watching saturday night tv and sorting out a relationship problem for a mate.

      I think more likely it'll just be a temp presenter for weekends 1-4 to give Matt & Mollie time off, plus time to plan and pilot the new show.

      Yeah I don’t think they’ll be anything that drastic - maybe a week or 2 of cover on early breakfast etc, but maybe just having that weekend afternoon slot covered over the summer means they can put someone on from September who maybe isn’t available until then?

      The Summer on Radio 1 thing makes me wonder whether they might be doing something similar to last year again where they have a temporary schedule over the summer before introducing changes in September - maybe the new host won’t start until after the summer?

      There was talk on my Big Weekend group from the council about them waiting for Ticketmaster to send an email out. They said they've been waiting a week. Maybe they're waiting for train strike confirmation first.

      Yep am very much Capital Breakfast now. Jordan, Chris and Sian are a great trio and it's got that feel of the old shows Jordan and Chris used to do on Radio 1. It doesn't take itself too seriously but is packed full of content and slick. With Greg he's great but 6 years in you've probably heard it all before plus frankly I can sit through the Capital Playlist a lot more easily than the Radio 1 playlist (where some of the inclusions and omissions can be quite baffling at times). Plus after things like the Oscars or Met Gala or if there's a particularly big TV show or film or popstar then Greg won't half wang on about it at times. I guess it's partly to be expected with it being a Breakfast show on a young station but it can feel very London bubble and get tired.
