Summer on Radio 1

So, I got bored of the CD I was listening to and decided to switch my radio on instead. It's tuned into my local radio station, SouthernFM (not through choice I'd like to add, I live at the bottom of a hill and get really bad reception) and there's some weird late night quiz on, like The Mint.

After further investigation, I've discovered it's this: www.cashcallradio.com

Has anyone ever listened before? It's weird... I'm not sure it really works on the radio. Not that it's a great success on the TV either.

It's on most local radio stations late at night, usually when I come back from London I have no option but to listen to it, as it's either that or some specialist music show that I'm not a fan of. Of course it works though, all they're interested in is getting money, and they're getting that.

Yeah i've heard it on 2-ten fm. you'll probably find that any station owned by GCap Media (Also called the "One" Network) broadcasts it, in the same way that Music Control and Late Night Love is...

I find it quite entertaining, apart from the lack of music in between. These stations don't half have some gay music on at night though! I listened for an hour coming back from a gig and it was the likes of infernal and scissor sisters throughout

I know the website's rubbish, but that makes no difference to the quality of the station!

That happens on Essex FM as well, cant see the appeal to be honest!!

Real Radio used to do Love Songs on a Sunday night between 10 and 1 and it was ideal music for me to get my freak on. But now i cant get it on with that ruubbish!!

On real Radio here, the love songs are a friday and a saturday now. I hear its hand to "get your freak on" john. The woman that does it though, has the most irritating Eburdonian accent ive ever heard in my life.
