OJ Borg going down to four days a week, looks like Phil Williams is doing the Monday shift

Schedules show that Phil is sitting in for OJ so that's could be a temporary thing. But good for OJ if it's permanent, it's hard to imagine how this work schedule messes with your social life.

Oh ok, strange they're not yet put Phil's show into schedules and showing him as sitting in

It really is strange @IamNotFromUk and what's even more strange is that Phil put on his socials that he was just one off sitting in rather than starting his new show.

Obviously it might just be that OJ wants to go down to 4 days a week but I wonder if the Sunday morning Steve Wright slot becomes free (as it’s rumoured to be) OJ might be in with a shout of launching a Sunday breakfast show?

My favourite thing about that press release is how at the end it diplomatically lists the Radio 2 DJs in alphabetical order to avoid any suggestion of favourites being listed first

Someone on DS Spy said that OJ tweeted that he wants to spend more time with family. They said that him doing a Sunday show would completely ruin that

Judging by the affectionate responses OJ has had on Twitter, then he's really established himself as 'Mister Late Night' (I'm always fast asleep by then, but impressed whenever I've heard him doing cover).   Hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as Alex Lester ...

Oj is one the best presenters out there. Always a good show from midnight or when he covers people. I really thought he was going to get Kens show when he left. 

He needs a daytime show and think Breakfast would be a very very good show if Zoe left

I agree that OJ is a good listen. I don't think he'll get the breakfast show sadly... as there are several people who I think would be ahead of him in that regard, and I can't see Zoe going anywhere soon. It's a shame they haven't had him cover for Scott this week rather than Spoony.

Yes I agree too, perfect company for a long drive at that time of night. I’d also like to sing Phil Williams’ praises too - I’d like to hope that if OJ did get a bigger show at some point, Phil would take over the midnight slot.
