Ant L 51
Ohh, never expected this. I wonder how Scott will feel about basically being demoted...
Jono 66
It will freshen things up and I'm delighted to hear Scott at work in the office. I guess it's all part of the big masterplan from Ben Cooper and I suppose it's better than how Bannister dealt with things. It's certainly the end of an era though - waking up with Moyles, going home with Mills.
whatthefrack 10
This makes me sad. Scott has basically been demoted. It might shake things up, but this is still a massive slap in the face to Scott.

It might shake things up, but this is still a massive slap in the face to Scott.Aw come on it's the biggest radio station in the world and after at least 8 he's still going to be in the afternoons! Pretty good going I'd say. It's going to be a new challenge for him and hopefully will allow him to branch out into new projects too. R94N 10
Certainly wasn't expecting this news when I came home. Not sure this is necessarily a bad thing for Scott but I guess Mr Cooper has had enough of Tom Deacon.
Harkinson 11
I liked Tom Deacon's show.. Though I think I'd prefer a Request Show seeing as Reggie's one stopped..
Ant L 51
Glad to see Dance Anthems back. I've always thought they needed a more mainstream dance show, particularly on a Saturday.Shame the 1Xtra simulcast is continuing though. Tyler1994 10
Actually quite sad and effected by this in an odd way. Drive always seemed the right place for Scott as the perfect combo with moyles on the breakfast show. Will be interesting to look at his tweets and what he portrays in them. Quote Who Is She?! Ant L 51
I wonder what this means for breakfast cover when Chris is on holiday. Could be their chance to trial Greg at breakfast?
DC 88
it makes no difference to me with scott moving, i'll still get to hear him and at least he is still on radio 1. i am delighted radio 1 has shown some balls and got a young dance dj in and revived dance anthems. since dave pearce left it's been missed. just as long as they actually play 'dance anthems' like dave pearce did all the way from the early 90's to today, and not 3 hours of fucking dubstep which is urban not dance.the only problem is that they should of left the request show where it was and put dance anthems on a sunday night again. but haha! so much for 'switch'. Tom. 10
Though I think I'd prefer a Request Show seeing as Reggie's one stopped..Err... the request show will be Sundays after the chart... Could this be the reason why Greg has stopped doing handovers with Scott, who seems quite angry about this re: I love Radio1 / Might move to Australia I love it thereAlso will Beccy and TOTDS move with him? I'm not so sure... and IOBF RFTW and The wonder years will finish...
Harkinson 11
The Request Show used to be on Saturdays with Reggie between 4-7pm. It was stopped suddenly a few weeks before Christmas but they still have a "Request Hour" between 5-6pm.
Tom. 10
Some of these changes seem rather pragmatic rather than constructive for the station, which is worrying...
