Don't know if this really works. It may be fun for a while, but a show without a dj becomes boring. And it isn't a proper request show when all the messages are pre-recorded..

I still don't mind the show. It's a request show. Reggie doesn't exactly throw much into the equation anyway.

I thought another few might be on the cards as i wouldn't imagine them doing all that production and go to the trouble of getting the VOs done if there was only one show. A taste of things to come...quite possibly

+1 to all the comments about not liking the pre-recorded format. There's a basis for accusing R1 of being worse than commercial rivals in that slot - at least Heart have a DJ in a studio presenting for that time (whether they're any good is a different story).

If Sara Cox is back soon and R1 are short of weekend cover, then this could possibly kill two birds with one stone..

Request show sounding so much better with Reggie than with a machine this week..

Thinking out loud, perhaps Matt Edmondson would be a good standin for when Reggie is off instead of a pre-record? Can't think whether he was available last week or not.
