A very entertaining listen. Amused at 15 minutes in he somehow got a load of voiceovers and random beeps and he's not too sure where they came from. He had his taxi driver on too. He is much more suited to this sort of show than Sunday's Lie In.

I thought he was great today. Sounded really relaxed. Great find Radio 1! But the jingle he played was an old one from around 2005ish. That woman was the old station voice.

Dev only worked briefly for CBBC, the stole him from 1 Xtra. As for Reggie he also had lots of previous DJ experience with live gigs and 1Xtra. Dick and Dom also had been doing lots of Dj gigs before R1 came along (and I've heard good things about their sets). I don't think it's just a case of any CBBC presenter will do, all of these people had lots of relevant experience making R1 a logical step.

Matt however has a wide range of talents, and R1 perhaps wasn't an obvious step, but he seems to be going rather well so I would say that's a good find.
