I'm sure he'll love that comment...

Yea, great way of being know as a fan... but come on he must know... mind u the lecturers usually look the worst at graduation with silly big colored hats with feathers (or atleast my lecturers had them)..

Tho must be great to recieve a degree with out doing 3/4 years, but if you were one of the other students there you'd be a bit unhappy me thinks.

Sorry if for any spelling mistakes, I'm dyspraxic.

AMAZING! Nearly 20 years after leaving school with just a couple of GCSEs, Scott Mills returned to Hampshire to pick up a degree from Southampton Solent University.

Watched by his proud family, the DJ, “off of” Radio 1, joined graduating students at Southampton Guildhall to be presented with his honorary doctor of arts.

Scott, 35, who went to Crestwood School in Eastleigh before becoming the youngest commercial radio presenter when he landed a slot on Power FM at the age of 16, received the award for his services to broadcasting.

“It’s always good to be back in Southampton, and my family are just so pleased, as I am, so it’s been a great day,” he said.

“It feels strange, but it’s a huge honour. But if it’s good enough for Craig David, it’s good enough for me.”

You know, one thing that is bugging me about the Scott interview, is where he is saying he didn't have the "education" - well, you know, this is such a pile of s***. What he has achieved has been achieved through "life education", what he has contributed over the years has been outstanding (I think).

So, all you people who are knocking him for not going through the 3/4 year studies, piss off!!

The only thing that is really, really bad is the sheer amount of debt which everyday students come out with!! Now this is one thing that bugs me.
