I think she sounds comfortable.

BUT I was going to post something up just as this thread popped up. This is the second day she's played new music and I've texted in my opinion thinking she'll read some out. So far with both new tracks on both days she's not read out any emails or texts about it.

On her daytime show she used to engage opinion on new tracks, she doesn't seem to do it on her weekend show.

I disagree with the young element though - there was a lot of people on road trips yesterday and she was talking about people who had been married a long amount of time.

I think the show's sounding possibly even better than the weekday one! I must agree about the text thing though- I would occasionally have some read out on the weekday show, but none on the weekends as yet. Maybe she has too many?

In the last hour she's had 463. That would work out about six a minute. Obviously it doesn't quite work like that but I'd say it's workable.

i've had two emails read out so far,the first saturday and second sunday,jo seems happier on the weekend,just seems out of touch thats all,she's 44 and does'nt ssem to now whats going on with a much younger age group thats txting and emailing her.

There's a difference between not knowing and playing dumb. Sometimes playing dumb sparks a bigger reaction that pretending to know it all. Maybe Jo Whiley didn't know there was a craze about lying down everywhere, but even if she didn't, there'll always be tonnes of people out there who didn't know either.

i do agree jono,just something not quite right yet,just weird hearing jo on a friday which seems normal for her,then on a weekend,like two different people

Jo is great at the weekends, just what we needed, and Edith is good too, its just a shame we had to sacrifice weekdays to get weekends right again.

I am enjoying Jo at weekends. I never really used to like her, and now I do!! She appears to be a lot happier in her new Slot, and I thought did very well.

I didn't know about the lying down craze. May try this myself.

Cheryl Cole will be with Jo this Sunday coming.
