Where's Laura now?

She's been with Grimmy since he moved to weeknights. It's not a demotion as unfortunately these roles are always changing and people move up and down the ranks in different areas regularly. I believe she's returning to producer status sometime soon.

it's still two shows at four hours a week and it will no doubt carry all the bbc introducing brand with it such as the blogs gigs and promotion. i would say as far as a specialist show goes that is pretty good going :D i think there's more to bbc introducing than the chart show. i think they still have to do admin work it's not just a case of turn up ;)

I am also intrigued about what the producers and assistant producers do? It seems like a fairly straightforward job on the surface, so what does their job really entail?

And I am confused about who decides who will be working with whom? Why do some shows like Chris and Scott's have fairly stable and regular teams whilst other shows like Jo and Edith's have had a wide variety of producers? How many staff actually work on each show and what do they all do?
