Don't want to get all heavy, but seriously what a mess-up. I don't really understand it all, but what people need to realise how ancient the Muslim world is compared to Europe and places. And how hypocritical is it of them to turn round and burn down the Danish embassy after all of this. Thankfully some Muslim leaders are seeing sense. But seriously, some of the stuff on their banners. The BBC being in blasphemic? Another hollocaust coming? :-X

Apparently protesters in Syria have burned down the Danish and Norwegian embassies :roll:

Yeah well that's fine to do that, because we have produced two or three controversial pictures. Just carry on burning stuff and probably killing people..

What i dont get is, if the same thing happened over here, eg. Jesus was shown on a cross with a bomb tied around his waist, would the same kind of uproar happen? Would our people burn down embasies? I dont think so myself. Sorry if this offends anyone but, i personally think that they are just attention seeking.

If they behead one of those hostages they have in Iraq, then we should go around London with banners and masks on and see how they like it.

Not all muslims are bad, but it seems that their religion brings trouble in most countries they are in. Some dont like the fact that in this country women have rights. My mom is an estate agent, and some muslims came into her office a few years ago. They demanded to speak to a man, so my mom said that she was the only one there, deal with her or no-one. They had to settle for my mom in the end but they didn't like the fact that my mom had authority over the office.

Yep, it'd be wrong to cast assumptions on the faith as a whole, but a large sector of Muslims have proven to the world that they are extremists with sour and disfunctional views of the world, which are outdated and in a lot of times unfair/racist/sexist.

The world of Islam is very 'medieval' compared to our European world.

And they are jealous. As my dad said, they want to live here and get all the benifits. Yet they want it destroyed as well. I am not racist, but sometimes i understand why people are. When you hear stuff like "the black flag of Islam will reign above number 10". Then you kind of get pissed off.

From what I've said there's one with "there's no more virgins left" (presumably Mohammad) talking to suicide bombers. And there's one with three Gods - one with the star of David, and a cross, etc. Then the Islamic one has a bomb above his head.

If the Danes did it in an Islamic country then i wouldn't agree with it. But really the cartoon was done on their grounds and it could be classed as freedom of speach.

To be honest they were looking for any excuse to start trouble, a little newspaper? They must of had to look hard. And all those demonstators are just jumpng on the bandwagon of hate i think.

These are tense times. However the muslims have been fighting us on and off for a very very long time. It's just another chapter of it all...

What these people don't seem to understand is Islam is the only religion in the world whee people will die and kill others because they believe Islam says so. No other group has killed others or tried to kill themselves in the name of Christianity, Judaism, etc. And that is what one of these cartoons was showing, and they've gone out and proved the cartoon right.

Hmm other religious groups have killed people because of religion other than the islamics. Religion is just an excuse for people to be sh**ty to each other always has been and always will be IMO.
